7: The Enthusiast – The Need for Adventure

Enthusiasts have a foot forward to life and are always excited for the next adventure.  They are playful and often like a puppy with too much energy trying to bite off more than it can chew.  7s are likely to avoid sadness, discomfort, or limitations.  Often in their heads and daydreaming, it can be hard for them to stay grounded in the present moment and its responsibilities.

Early in life, they internalized that sadness and grief are to be avoided at all costs.  7s are, at their best, the life of the party, and often the source of positive energy in a setting.

If 7s wish to grow, they will need to learn how to be present to the hard things of life and stop running off from one exciting adventure to another.  They will have to come to terms with limits and limitations and recognize that they cannot say yes to everything.
